I know I'm supposed to do something productive like doing laundry, doing lab reports@assignments (due week after raya...!!!), etc, tapi.... *sigh* kemalasan melanda diri. lol

What I did in the last few hours (after putting the dirty clothes into the machine) was looking for chords by ear. Who's songs? Kak Yuna la...kekeke
I've searched for them a lot but they're very hard to find. So far I've managed to look for the chords of Backpacking Around Europe, Blue Sands, Firework, Marina...
But not so complete la...
And to be frank, I can't even strum very well, let alone doing that and singing at the same time.

Then, looking at all those creative people I found, I realized how technical I am.

Well, actually, I've realized that since a long time ago.

Learning the guitar is actually an attempt to un-skema myself, because I learned that music can motivate the brain to think. mcm bgtu la lbh kurg. lol

You know us girls, we have our mood swings, and I'm currently in one. Lucky for you, I'm not the cursing type... I mean, it's sooooo uncool if all you do is say cursing words when you're angry. No offense everyone. But to be frank, I am actually trying very hard to suppress my urge to curse to everyone in the vicinity. lol

handphone

My handphone is seriously, seriously not working right. Well, actually just the mic and the scroll. It's nokia 5300, so it has those music player button on the sides - they're not working too. Guess it's because of the cable inside. These things happen to slide phones. Seems like it isn't such a big deal, right? However, I already bought a new handphone... Idiot. I know.
It's not here yet. My brother bought it in KL, and my cousin will bring it back here on Tuesday.

Hm... became ketua aras. tida penting juga...but it's big for me because i'm a shy girl. (beh!!!) hahaha...tiada-tiada

Got allergic shots at around 3 am on Sunday.... dad said I should quickly go to the hospital if I couldn't stand the itch, that's why 3 am. masa kena 2nd injection, menggigil ba badan. ahaha.....
and i'm not really sure if that was the effect that I should experience.

Er.... I eventually decided to take Macroeconomics anyway . Ya...9 subjects, 24 credit hours. Mantap!

Trip to Sarawak (for wajadiri) canceled... due to some technical difficulties. huhuhu... T_T
Well, at least canceled as far as I know la..... a bit confused on the details. @_@
Yang pasti memang saya tidak join pertandingan itu ....huhuhu....

I'm still in dilemma about taking extra subjects. I asked the Macroeconomics lecturer about this and he said I shouldn't take both Macro n Micro at the same time. "Not efficient", he half-jokingly said.
Yet want it or not, I already submitted the form to the dean's office.
Berserah pada takdir ja la skrg ni. :P

It's desk A47, and we're near the registration for second intake students. I saw my uncle over there, dealing with the students photographs.
"pandangan depan bha, bukan pandangan sisi"... sot. he's wearing a mask. sick, probably.
I even saw his friend take a picture of him with his hand in a peace sign. wakakaka.... sot punya uncle.

I have lab at 2, and also micro. I chose to go to the lab. Perhaps I'll see the Micro lecturer tomorrow. Kalau rajin. hahaha
Tonight got training again. surely I'll wake up late tomorrow.

It seems I'm not taking 9 subjects (24 credit hours) after all.
Ooh....that's Dr. Harun over there. (Haha...blogging di SST ni.)

So...
I'm not taking Macro because, after putting much thought, I just don't think I can do it.
Biarlah.... extend pun extend la kan...

Yesterday, after Iffy went home, I went to SST. At the dean's office, a woman, whom I presume is his assistant, said that I should include my result with the form.
(D'oh!)
Perfect example of "malu bertanya, sesat jalan" haha
I should have asked first the staff first before sending it.
But, actually common sense juga mah....of course la they'd ask for last sem result.

The woman then said, "just send it here, and tomorrow just check at the office"... In Sabahan Malay la of course. haha
So I was feeling down enough that I just don't think I had the will to go to Kg. A and SST back again.
Plus, Valerie said she wanted to come to my room.
x pa la... :P

All time low

Last semester, for some technical reasons, I couldn't register for 1 minor subject which is Microeconomics. Yet, instead of using the opportunity to achieve good results (since my credit hours was very low compared to my coursemates), I slacked off and I received an even lower results than the first semester.

This has taken its toll on my self-esteem and my confidence level which was already an all time low. Only a small number of people know my pointer.
And that's not including dearest Farid. (sorry...)
Sometimes I'm afraid of embarrassing him since he's such an achiever, much the opposite of myself.

Anyway, about the Microeconomics, now I have to take it this semester along with Macroeconomics.
That's TWO minors for this semester.
So if I sum up my credit hours, it's a total of 24.
Best of all, I have to take it ALONE.
Splendid.

But, that is, if the Dean of SST approves. I'm at the library now, and after Iffy goes home I'll be going to meet Dr. Harun to show him that Borang Pelepasan Jam Kredit. :P

I have no idea if this is the right thing to do. Almost everyone I asked said almost the same thing: "kalau boleh angkat, ambik seja la..."
True... but that didn't really help.
Of course, I have friends from SPE who can teach me some stuff, but I can't count on them all the time.
Yet if I don't take it this semester, then most probably I'd have to extend. 0_0 *gulp*


One more thing that worries me...
Silat.
Come August, there will be a competition - wajadiri - held in Sarawak. I may (have to) be one of the participants in this event, since it was said that Sabah is sending the lowest number of representatives compared to the other states.
So because of that, we're going to have extra training hours. That, plus the 15 mins walk of Kg. A - Stadium UMS (to and from).
By the time we get back to our rooms, we'll be exhausted.
So tell me, how am I going to survive taking 9 subjects?

Yet Abang Arom (our trainer/penyelia) did say that they don't want students to excel more in silat than the academics.
Perhaps I could just withdraw?

Haiz... Jadi macam tu???

1st day of 3rd sem

It wasn't much of a big deal for me initially, but it seems almost everyone had their say, so I thought I should say something too. ;P

Nothing much.

Today I checked out and in my the hostel... lol... I didn't check out last sem. bagus kan... Baru td check out..then check in blk baru.
Anyheww...
After taking my keys, I went to my room...tough luck. I got Block E. There's not much view from our window... Probably just other people's windows and some grasses. And if I felt like having some air, the stairs is near our door...only that all I get to see is a huge tree, and below it there are those lines where you hang the laundry... (ampaian bha..haha)

Two of my old roommates got our old room back, and Mel is currently using my desk. uuuu T_T
I like that room... It had at least a little view of the city, and the block is nearest to the tangga besi. lol
It's ok though. I'll consider this a new adventure.. haha...tlgla. bilik baru ja pun kira adventure ka? haha

When I went into the room I met one of my roommates - a chinese girl named (I think) Hui Ting. I saw in the list that there's 3 1st years and 3 2nd years, and she's one of the 1st years. She said that all 1st years and one 2nd year girl checked in already, but 1 of the 1st years balik kampung. Besides me, there's one other person who haven't showed up yet.
She's OK la I think... Only a few minutes of acquaintance and already she asked me about what PPIB subject I took in the 1st sem. That's a good start. :P

Besok ada clas. Kimia dan Kimodinamik. Nevesnyaa...

I'm actually still at home. And the clothes are right in front of me... staring at me half-folded. wahahaha..... Pelik2 pula sda ayat2ku ini. Definite signs of drowsiness. lol

I am absolutely positive now.. the blisters on my face were because of the make up. I guess it's either I'm simply not supposed to wear thick make up, or that the make up I used was not suitable for me, or that I didn't wash my face thoroughly that day. Serves me right if the last one was true. Haha...

Boonga Art Shoes

Ever heard of the website called Boonga Art Shoes?

Well it's actually a blog, and they sell hand-painted, canvas shoes.
Try clicking the title of this post - I've linked it to that website.

There's this one design that I like, but I'm not sure if they could fit my wide feet. haha...dunno la, should i call them wide, or what.
If I actually buy that pair of shoes, it should be RM75. And that is RM60 for shoe design/type, RM15 for postal fees. It will cost more if I ask for some editing.

So...

Should I buy them? And I'm in desperate need for new shoes too. :P
But I'm not sure if they're worth my money... I mean, what if they don't fit?
And they're strictly not refundable.

short updates

- I haven't blogged for awhile now simply because I don't feel like it...there's a lot of drafts that I didn't publish.... Whenever I start to type, the mood will go away in an instant. Maybe because the laptop is sooo darnnnn slowwww...... penat kali kan.... I rarely shut it down..usually it hibernates by itself cause I'd fall asleep. :P

- Something is ruining my skin. My face, to be specific. More n more pimples decided to appear. Some aren't pimples at all...more like boils. They'd pop, resulting in the burning sensation of being skinned and leaving a nasty mark after that... I know, yuck. Reminds me of chicken pox, only that I already had it in Primary 6, and that they only appear ON MY FACE. Oh, and also, I didn't have any fever. The worst thing is, they don't heal very fast. So there goes the 'gebu' skin...*sigh*

- My right eyelids are itchy, and after i rub them they'd swell and sting. The swollen skin would then harden, and when i thought it was time to peel it off, (and i peeled it off) the FRESH skin would sting!
Words of advice that you might already know: don't rub your eyes or any part of skin near them if they itch. A big NO.
They are so annoying. You know, I feel like I'm being cursed or something. I'm getting hurt in various places.

- I went to Growball at Saturday with my cousin Saiful. Watched Drag Me To Hell first, and Terminator Salvation after that. We didn't eat anything but popcorn that day. Bought two Large Combo's, 1 set for each movie... kenyang minum air ja ni. hehe... I pretty much used up all my money that day. I don't go out much anyway, so I should deserve all the spending, don't you think? :D

- You'dprobably know that my sister held her wedding reception on Saturday, 29th May 2009. (I don't know, should I call it wedding reception? apa2 la....) Sorry cause there's no picture here. I don't feel like uploading since it happened weeks ago...and that there weren't too many pictures that I like..
If you already added me as a friend in Facebook, then there's a whole lot of pictures there in the album "here comes the bride" and in the pictures where i got tagged. That is, if you feel like seeing how cakey my face looked like, being the pengapit...haha... don't understand? Add me in facebook. lol
I'll put it here some other time, when I feel like reminiscing about my sister's wedding, ok? haha

I know this is ridiculous, but since about early 2008, the number 26 occurred a lot to me. It didn't occur to me again after I went to UMS until these last few months.
Just now I looked at the clock of my laptop and saw that it was 12.26 am. And then my eyes just automatically looked at the clock an hour later. 1.26 am.
While I was looking for lyrics, I saw a human calendar at a blog. It just seemed to attract me for awhile. Then I realize what date it is today.
26 May 2009.
I immediately searched for the calendar and put it here. :D

And then, my boyfriend. My boyfriend...
He was born on the 20th of June.. I know it's not 26... But close enough. 20/06, right?

Update on Sis' Wedding

Finally! I'm done with sticking names on invitation cards. I guess, what's left are the gifts and the spring-cleaning. I can't wait for another family picture on the pelamin... Something like this one below. What do u call it anyway, stage?? apa2 la..

The wedding's on 30th May 09, btw. I've only just invited a few of my friends, because I needed to put Sis', dad's, and mom's people as the priority. My dearest bestfriend, the one who didn't actually read this blog, and also the one who is currently (and I mean right now) in UiTM Penang, will not be attending that day. I don't mind that much, just as long as she doesn't miss my wedding... and I'm dead serious about my wedding day. ngahahahaha

Jodohku dengan Kura2 - part 2

I'm trying to get used to the status change.
Feels weird. Just so weird.
I actually have a boyfriend again. It is such a weird feeling.

I know I complained a lot about not being able to have a bf, but when I told my mum, she said nothing but...
"bt apa ada boifren, mc blajar lg?!"
then she went on about my sis' invitation card...
So, I just assume that that's an OK. lol
Ntahla...nti tnya balik... My parents are a bit stressed out about sis' wedding. So I'll just steer clear of the zone, for now..before any bomb starts to go off.

Need I say who it is?
Naah... Let's just call him Kura2 for now. Cause it'd be better if you asked me myself, right? :D
So what's with the Kura2 thing? Well, he was the one who gave me that kuma2 stuffed toy, and he was also the one who bluetoothed me the song... I have no idea why, but he's so crazy about Kuma2. (I meant the stuffed toy).

Now, how do I begin to describe this guy?
Hmm.. I can see that he's a very nice guy, and he definitely tried very hard...
Hmm.. malasla mo crta smwa. Klu mo taw tnya cdri la ba... haha

I'm not sure how long it'll last, so I'm trying to take things as slow as possible... I don't want it to be the "easy come, easy go" type of relationship, cause it would seem like we're simply fooling around. That's one of the things that bothers me, not because of him, but because of me.
Knowing myself, I'm just not sure I would be as faithful.
Think positive ja la... haha ;p

Anyways, we hang out for 4 days in a row before he went back to Sandakan. He's now in Tawau, and I believe it's for "Program Siswa Prihatin". He said he wanted to come here for sis' wedding day, but I told him not to. Gila la... Sda la berjam2 klu gna jln... tket kapal pun bkan murah.

I needed to replace my old bag. There's this weird purple-blue blot as big as a 50 cent coin on my sling bag. I have no idea where I got that. And I loved that bag! It's simple and I bought it with my mum... Huhuu.... T.T

Nowhere near cool.

It's one of those days again. Everything feels so wrong and I doubt every choice I made. I'm warning you. This is an emotional post. Don't read it if you can't handle it.

Ever since I can remember, I was always this quiet girl, always trying to be best at everything I try. I get easily bored, and I hated working hard when I think of the possibility that my hard work would be of no use whatsoever. I was never sure of myself, and it sucks when people think that doing good means trying to suck up to people. And, probably, because of that, I never knew how to express the way I feel towards people, cause everything feels so awkward when I try to be honest about the way I feel. I never knew how to be friendly to people, but perhaps that's just an excuse to stop socializing.
That is so wrong.
I hated the old me, in other words, when I was in school. I also hated almost everyone that had anything to do with me back then. Cause remembering them just reminds me of who I was.
Now, that is also wrong. But I can't help it, and I can't justify why I hate them.

I made a fresh start when I went to matric. I tried to turn things around.
New hair, check. Positive attitude, check. Unlimited cuteness, check!
Naah...kidding about the last one. But I guess I succeeded in making friends, and I tried lots of new stuff. New friends, new way of learning, new handphone, tried having a bf, met old friends, and I became good friends with an old classmate that I rarely spoke to when we were classmates. C naz la bha tu. haha...
To conclude, I became friendlier than I ever was before. But still the silent type la..at the beginning. Always, when I hangout with friends and reminisce about the past, they would say almost the same thing....
"Dulu masa mula2 nampak c misa ni, diam sja dia, malu2 ja dia mo bcakap. Skarang suda kenal....huh..."
Yeah, they can't stand me. I wouldn't stop bullying them. haha... I luv them. Mish them. Feel sorry for them, for having a friend like me. Tough luck, people. lol

Now I'm in UMS, and this time, I realized that I would meet more people, so I tried opening up even more. I wouldn't say that I'm popular or anything, but at least I found a few sets of new friends. They're very nice people, and sometimes I feel like I'm taking advantage of their kindness without really meaning to. I feel so blessed and lucky to be able to meet these people and I can't seem to thank them enough.
There's no need to mention any names here. So if you think I'm talking about you, just give yourself a pat on the back, why dontcha? You've done well. hehe..

Yet, I have to say that I am still the same old awkward self, only with more friends. I guess that's just who I am.

I hope I'm doing okay with the progresses I made.

Sejak kemunculan Yunalis Mat Zarai, aku stat balik blajar gitar. Maybe her appearance with the tudung encouraged my to start it again. Heh..guilty.
I often gave up before, cause my fingers would hurt so much! And it's very hard to change chords... I don't think that I'm a natural, but it's only been a few months since I started, so let's just see how it goes. But still, sakit!!! haha..
For now, I guess I can play Perhaps, After Midnight, and Dan Sebenarnya, all by Yuna. But only the simple strumming la... Tu pun x smooth lg... Still can't strum and sing at the same time. hahaha
Maybe after a few months, I'll upload the audio of what I can sing. lol

This past week has been a total bummer.
I can't guarantee an A for E&M, nor HE... And Statistics was a disaster! that's what you get for skipping classes. haha
What am I to do? Been hating those three stuff since I could remember: ecology, history, statistics. Otherwise it would've been easy... And it's hard to change a mindset when it's been there for a long time, get what I mean?

Next week, there'll be Ecology & Microbiology, Hubungan Etnik, and Basic Statistics. Hope I'll do OK like those previous two.
